Hands-free, head to toe
Warm, moving air dries your back, your feet, behind the knees — the places a towel makes you twist and bend to reach.
Welyna is a gentle warm-air body dryer that stands by your shower and plugs into a normal outlet. Sit or stand, press once, and dry head to toe — no bending, no twisting, no waiting for someone to help. The riskiest moment in the bathroom is drying off — bending and reaching on a wet floor. Welyna dries you with warm air while you stay steady, sitting or standing. No cold scramble for a towel, no damp chill. Welyna wraps you in gentle warm air that stays warm against your skin — comfortable all the way dry. It plugs into a normal outlet, turns on with one touch, and dries your whole body with warm, moving air — sitting or standing. You can finally put the towel down.

Getting dry, without the gymnastics.
Warm, moving air dries every part of you while you stay upright and supported — the opposite of folding over a wet floor.
Warm, moving air dries your back, your feet, behind the knees — the places a towel makes you twist and bend to reach.
No leaning on a wet edge, no reaching for a dropped towel. You stay upright and supported the whole time.
Warm air tuned to feel like a soft breeze — not the roar of a hand dryer. Kind to thin, sensitive, or healing skin.
Plugs into a normal bathroom outlet and stands by your shower — sealed against moisture and simple enough to use with one button, for you or someone you care for.
It's the difference between a Dyson and an ordinary hair dryer. A space heater just warms the air around you — slowly, drifting, going nowhere. Welyna's high-speed motor and precise temperature control push a fast, focused stream of warm-but-never-hot air across your whole body, actively lifting the water off your skin.
Warm air reaches every part of you — whether you dry off seated on a shower chair or standing.
Step in, press once, and warm air dries you all over while you stand naturally.
Sit on your shower chair or stand by the shower — whichever is easier for you.
Press a single large button. Warm air starts — gentle, even, and quiet.
Move naturally as warm air dries you all over in a few minutes — no bending, no reaching.
Tilts to send warm air up to your head and shoulders, so you dry evenly from the top down — and the air stays warm where it meets your skin.
Warm air flows through a soft textile panel that lifts off and washes clean — so stray hair, lint, and damp never build up. Looks like furniture, stays hygienic.
A single large button with a clear, warm light — easy to find and press, even with poor eyesight or shaky hands.
A low, weighted, anti-slip base built to stay put — and it simply plugs into a normal bathroom outlet.
A body dryer lives in a damp room — so the part the air flows through has to stay hygienic. Welyna's soft front panel pops off in seconds and rinses clean in the sink, so stray hair, lint, dust, and bathroom damp never build up.
No hidden surfaces you can't reach, nothing to trap grime. Wash it, let it dry, click it back on.
A tall, gentle column of warm air that fits beautifully in your space — in Warm White, Sand Beige, or Stone Grey.
It's a warm-air machine at heart — so when winter comes, the same Welyna doubles as a gentle room warmer. Take the chill off the bathroom before you step in, or warm the corner of a room where you sit. It earns its place all year — not a gadget that gathers dust. Overheat protection and auto shut-off are built in.
75 inches tall on a compact 13-inch base. It stands quietly beside your shower, taking up about the footprint of a laundry basket.
A comfort-and-independence aid, not a medical device. We're designing to reduce the bending and reaching tied to bathroom falls — see "What we won't claim" below.
I live in New Jersey, where the winters are brutal. The shower itself is hot and wonderful — and then you step out, and drying off in the cold is the part nobody enjoys. The towel never really warms you, and the same towel hanging in a damp bathroom all week never feels truly clean. I'd grumble about it every cold morning.
But the real reason I'm building Welyna is my dad.
In the winter of 2025, I brought my parents over from China. They're getting older — their knees are bad now, and stairs and long walks are hard. My father especially: he walks slowly, and gets out of breath. They worked their whole lives and raised three sons. My two older brothers are still in China; I studied my way out, built a career, and immigrated here — and more than anything, I wanted to give them an easier life in America.
Then I noticed my dad had started avoiding showers — I'd have to nudge him. And every time, right at the end, he'd call for my mom before he'd come out. I didn't understand why, until she finally told me: bending down had become hard for him, drying himself off was exhausting, and he was afraid of the cold.
That hit me. I went looking for something that simply dries a person, gently, after a shower. There's one from Spain, Valiryo — but everyone says the same things: too expensive, and you need a licensed electrician to install it. The cheap stand-on-a-pad blowers? Slow and cold — easy for an older person to catch a chill.
So I decided to build it. I'm an electrical engineer — I spent years building train-control signaling systems (I even wrote the book on it), and I'm a senior researcher at Rutgers CAIT. My current startup builds automated microgreens growers — so I already work every day with precise heating, high-power airflow, and the food-grade supply chain to source it. The same technology that grows greens can dry a person, gently and warmly. I have what it takes to make this right.
I'm building the Welyna I want for my father. If you have a parent who needs this too — or you just dread that cold scramble after a shower — come build it with me.

We won't tell you Welyna "prevents falls" or call it a medical device. It's a comfort-and-independence aid — and we'll only say what we can stand behind.
